Ms. Nurse, I am glad to hear that your husband is great in the excitement department!! My wife certainly wishes the same were true of ME..........

(Hope you don't mind a little teasing! Have a good trip up to Maine, for as long as it lasts!!)

Some people feel that Maine has an anti-business stance when structuring taxes, fees, and zoning.
I can not really say. I have no bone in that dog-fight.
As a place to live, Maine is great!
I have no idea of what a person would find as frustrating while living in Maine [that would not be the same thing is every state].

Maine is a terrible place to try to run a business. I'd look elsewhere

My area is good for raising kids, which is completely obvious by the influx of trust funders from NY, CA, etc... It sucks to run a business, or even to expand. Unless you're from here, and your father sold pot at the same high school as you did, its just hard to make connections.

Its completely true. Would you rather that someone tells you that its a hideous place to come and start a business in 40 different ways?

You're right. Who wants to read a ten page diatribe on how poorly this State treats business. The truth is simple and straight forward...Maine is NOT a business friendly state, there is little argument on that point and anyone considering starting or moving a business to Maine would most likely do better elsewhere.
