Default 'Surface of Mars', temperatures in CT now...

Hello Group,

I just wanted to let all my friends in Maine know that down here in Connecticut today, it is quickly approaching the 'Temperature on the Surface of Mars'....300*.
- Well, ok it's not actually going to be 300* (however, it's sure starting to FEEL like that)!
Right now, at 1:00PM it 92* and rising, and the current dew point is 72*.
Today it is supposed to be 92 - 94* with dew points in the 70's, and tomorrow around 97 - 99* with even higher dew points (Oh Goodie).
(Maybe I'll go out and TAR MY ROOF...)?
Yesterday, I spent 3+ hours installing three window air conditioners, which got turned on at 8:00AM this morning, before it started getting HOT!

Also yesterday, I hurriedly finished a big job which I started on Monday, of cutting up two large downed trees, for firewood, and mowed a big lawn.

These were two things that I did not wish to do the rest of this week in the Tropical Heat!

I am like a lot of Mainer's, and consider myself a "Penguin" who Loves the Cold weather, and Hates the heat & especially the high Dew Points!

I wish that I could be sitting IN Clayton Lake, or on top of any Maine Mountain, all the rest of this week!

'Stay Cool up in the North-Country, my friendly 'fellow-Penguins'!

Sweating to the Oldies down here...
