Thank you, Elston! You know, this not the first time these people have been drawn into the Maine legal system. When I first contacted Pine Tree, the woman knew all the names (each player, so to speak), after I gave her one... I would hope this would be a big red light...

A man showed up at our door claiming to be a mediator (yet, he's working for our out of state landlord). He stated that he was "hoping to mediate an agreement"... Then slipped me an envelope that had a seven day demand and subsequent eviction papers before he hurried out the door. He had written his PO Box number on the back. Has anyone heard of the Moiyee Corp? We didn't even get a business card. But we have gotten Small claims papers...

Why don't you just vacate? They don't want you and you don't want to live there.

Yes, Moyee is a major company hired by big landlords, to take care of their court stuff. They are not court mediators. The latter work for the court. You will meet them when you go for your hearing.

We are planning to vacate. If this is a "major" company, why can I find nothing? Better yet, how can they be so drone? I don't have a legal address to serve them any papers of my own... We suddenly get small claims for this Corp, but with no legal address?

FYI... if Moiyee is so big, why can't Mr. Fulton afford a full shirt? Hope he can show up in something that looks less than moth-eaten...

Tried to post this earlier but was having problems.
Having just money order receipts might not be sufficient.
Having proof of what happened to, or, who cashed money orders might be more helpful.

I mentioned that in a DM to her, but she didn't have any time left to get the info that might have helped her.
