Default Any theatres that play classic/vintage movies?

A few years ago one of the theatres in Auburn would devote one screen to classic movies like JAWS, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Ben Hur, etc. But I can't find that they are still doing it.

Anyone know of any other theatres anywhere in Maine that do this, even if only occasionally?

The advent of the DVD and the large screen personal tv has killed that. People can now buy the movie and see it themselves in their own home theater.

Which reminds me It time to upgrade. My 55 inch screen is beginning to seem too small. Time to get a 70.

The drive-in in Baring has been shut down for a good long while. What we need is a Shakey's Pizza.

Back in 1972, the Shakey's Pizza in Pensacola had "the only 12 fingered piano player in captivity." The guy would hold his hands up and it looked like he had about 16 fingers. Kids loved him. Wow, 40 years ago. Pensacola also had Rosie O'Grady's. They had free salted peanuts in the shell and showed silent flying movies on the wall.
