MUCH better. The stacks are a lot cleaner and not belching black smoke.

For some reason, the mill in Bucksport never seems to stink, but Rumford and Lincoln... well, they've stunk to high heaven every time I've been there.

Lincoln is the only privately owned fully integrated chlorine free mill in the world. It has been cleaned up a whole lot since the nicknames of long ago. The chlorine free peroxide bleaching process was developed in house.

If you have time, subscribe to a local paper and read it for a few weeks... In Lubec the weekly is The Lubec Light, 207-733-2939, 76 Washington Street, Lubec, ME 04652-1139
You will learn a lot about life in the community...

PS There are no bad smells in Lubec....
