you do know they have indoor plumbing??
I agree the description of Bath was good- I do not like Miles hospital. I have a number of health issues, and the treatment there has been sub-par to say the least. I much prefer Midcoast.

As far as basics- if I needed a broken arm set, or stitches, I'd go to Miles for that sort of thing. Not, however, for anything requiring a diagnostician.

to be clear, miles memorial hospital is in damariscotta, not bath, not brunswick

its too bad you got sub par treatment at miles..


many many moons ago, I had a great aunt that worked at Miles as an RN, she lived on westport island

I haven't read through the whole thread, but here are some nice Brunswick houses up for sale in the OP's price range (I used Camden Real Estate's website):

Oh, sorry. I previewed the post, and it did take me to the Brunswick listings. I like this website to look at listings. If you click on "properties" and then "search all Maine listings", any town in Maine can be searched....
