Just wondering......does he have a big following there? This would tell me a lot about political climate.

I think he's pretty popular, but I think there are more Ron Paul-type voters in NH in my opinion. I've seen yard signs and bumper stickers numerous times in the past few weeks.

He has a small, but dedicated Ron Paul following. Maine has four congresscritters. All four are liberals. They get reelected. Nuff said.

Ron Who? Seriously though, I only heard of him a week or so ago. We don't get much Conservative reporting and news up in this area. I will be looking into him a bit more in depth though, what little I read sounded kind of OK. But maybe a bit too right-wing even for me. I can just see a "W" condensed.

Ron Paul is about 180-degree opposite of George W. Bush. Ron Paul is a libertarian conservative, not a "neo-conservative."

Exactly. There is very little they have in common.
Wobbly is a con artiste, Ron a libertarian conservative.
W is grandiose-delusional, Ron a constitutional realist.

And that is why I am going to look further into his stands on issues. I am hoping for somebody that has at least half a brain, God knows we haven't had that for the last 2 Presidents.

I got to see him speak at the beginning of October. To check out candidates, might I recommend a few non-partisan web sites? This means you will actually see ALL of the candidates not just the Dems and Repubs... Project Vote Smart - American Government, Elections, Candidates and Voting and www.leagueofwomenvoters.org. I have used these sites repeatedly. They even break down issues on a what the folks for it say and what the folks against it say. ( in plain English, even) This has been very helpful for me in the past.

I hope more people learn about him. I believe he is BY FAR the best candidate. Lets get back to the constitution and our rights!
