It's cold and windy over here in Los Angeles. But I'm in my warm house watching my favorite show. Watching it I noticed that if we move to Maine it looks like I need to buy both a snowmobile (sled) and an ATV. Is that true or just in certain parts of Maine?

And when I say it's cold here it's in the frigged 50's. Brrrr............

Thanks! I've missed quite a few episodes this season. It's on now.

Few people "need" an ATV or snowmobile here. We have a snowmobile because it's fun. We are very outdoorsy people and didn't suffer before we bought it last year.

A brand new episode is on Animal Planet tonight. Watching this show is what made me think about retiring over there in Maine. I've spend my whole life in the city here in Californication. I'm looking for a quiet rural type of life with decent moral people. I hope I find it in Maine.

I think you'll find it here. It's a nice place to be. I've lived in other states and another country. Nothing comes close to Maine in my heart.

It is 60 here today, and I'm watching as well. It should reach 70 tomorrow and I may be forced to ride my motorcycle. It is supposed to break records for the temperature tomorrow and Saturday for those dates. Good I'll be outside frying turkeys and smoking a few hams anyway on Saturday!

Wow you're warmer than us over in Cali. I won't be frying any turkeys or smoking hams. I'll just chill with a nice glass of cabernet. Brings me to this question. Are there any winery's in Maine? We have some of the best winery's in the world over here in The Napa Valley. Love my vino.

What sign? You mean like "Here's your sign?" Yes we can google over here. Can you over there? Would you happen to know if there are any Italian communities in Maine? What is the ethnicity in Maine? Just some of many questions I'll have before coming to visit.

Maine is a mixed bag of ethnicities. There probably are some Italian areas, I've never looked for any. Bangor has an Italian community.

Just kidding. Pretty lame, I know. Trust me I'll have a million questions prior to coming. Is Bangor anywhere near the coast? We really want to settle by the coast. Being born and raised here, you are pretty much 20 min. from the Pacific Ocean. I love the ocean, but I've had enough of the thong bikinis and bandage bras. I wouldn't mind a nice coastal life with some dignity.
