Us Angelinos (Los Angeles) are freaking out because it got down to 20 degrees here. How cold is it there, and will this city boy be able to adjust if we move there?

Not too bad

This weekend it may get colder. But it is December - I was kinda hoping for another mild global warming winter!!

First below zero temperature reading this morning here, -2F.
The cold will spread east soon as LOTS of snow cover upstream usually keeps temperatures down for awhile.

The three large storms moving across the country are going to merge over Maine this weekend and stall. It is going to dump a whole lot of snow. We know what to do with it. You can follow our progress here:

That temp was recorded in East Antarctica, not the arctic. You guys are cold though. We'll get some tomorrow.

Dang, compared to you guys, it's downright balmy here. Thanks for the update. But still, I ask. If I move there do you think I'll be able to adjust?
