“I’m thankful for crisp clean air to breathe on a sunny autumn morning, for the chance to paddle the spectacular rivers and lakes of Maine’s North Woods, <sniffle>
I'm guessing about there.

You YaYas know me too well!
This was my first favorite, and it bears repeating.
“I’m thankful that my family is able to live in a place where the coast and the islands are our front yard and rivers, lakes, and mountains are our backyard.” - Brownie Carson, Executive Director
And this pretty much says it all......
I am thankful for a pristine island in Maine that has been a family gathering place for over 40 years. I am thankful for clear cold water, loons calling, granite boulders, deep green fir trees and balsalm scented forests. I am grateful for seagulls wheeling over salt water and the smell of the ocean. I am thankful for my Maine roots and the reverence for nature with which I have been blessed to have been instilled. I am thankful for NRCM working so wholeheartedly to protect the irreplaceable and achingly beautiful natural resources of Maine. Thank you! - Judith S., member living in New Mexico

El may have the sniffles, I am down right sobbing. That is beautiful and I am counting the minutes to be there again. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Molly. I have been having a great time reading all the posts on Maine and just can't wait to get there. The Kids will be glad when we do too. Built in babysitters are a good thing.
