el,,, im talking settlement costs,,not brokers commission,
when i stated "buyers" i meant the buyers themselves, not the buyers brokers,,

Oh. When they explained "closing costs" to us, that includes the seller's agent and buyer's agent commission which is the 6% split between them, title insurance, document fees, title company fees, deed transfer fees, etc. That, apparently, is typically the seller's burden.

yes, you are right, and typically there are closing costs for the buyers also ...
this is what im talking about,, instead of lowering ,,the price of the house, a seller could offer to pay closing costs that the buyer would normally pay,,which would be an incentive for the buyer,,less out of pocket cash
im not suggesting YOU do this,,im saying in general,,ive seen this as a good incentive
