Items I need:
-------------------

- Online Check Writing (type in address and $$ and they mail the person a check)

- Online Access (check the account and charges to my checks/debit card)

- Offers a visa check/debit card / or mastercard, not picky.

Any suggestions?
Bangor savings bank waives any of those $2.00 fees charged by atms, etc., if you add those fees up annually...they add up to a large chunk particularly if you have more than one person in the family using the atm's. We are going to switch to Bangor Savings. Free checking...w/ waived fee's.. ING is good for savings and we use sharebuilders.com for inexpensive trades which just merged w/ ING. ING is the place to bee! : )

Bank of America has excellent accounts--if you are in a package-type of account, everything is free. Probably the problem at TD Banknorth is just that you are in the wrong account. Bigger banks will offer more than the smaller ones, and typically, believe it or not, fees are usually lower.
