Wow I am so happy that it's above 32 here again today. Yesterday actually got into the low 40s and we had a lot of melting. Guess it's time for a long awaited trip to the car wash and a half hour walk. A first sign of spring this morning was when hubby went to the door to pick up our paper, he caught the scent of a skunk!

It's mating season. Raccoons are also out and about.

I fired up the big snow machine yesterday and ran around the back yard a couple of times. I had hoped to break out my trail from my house to the trail system. I got stuck twice in the back yard. I prudently decided to wait until it's back down to normal temps before breaking out the trail. 30 inches of powder doesn't make for good snowmobiling.
