I don't know why Maine cannot reduce the corporate tax and entice more commerce. In the town I go to I have spoken to some of the town fathers and they are adamant that they preserve the small town way of life. But then you drive a mile or two out of town and people are living in poverty because they have no jobs. Are they unwilling to change with the times or will new businesses in Maine destroy a sacred way of life? I mean we all have to survive and that means money and jobs.
