There was a time in the late 70's when houses were installing electric heat like when my house was built..
I am not even sure on the reasoning of this... I would think if we say Oil climb to $5 or $7 a gallon we would see similiar increases in natural gas and then also electric... so I "think" anyways that given and option electric heat is just not a afordable option..
