by the way ...has anyone actually ever roasted a chestnut?
we had a few huge horse-chestnut trees, in the neighborhood we grew up in,,
it was a rough neighborhood, like apples (in season) we'd have horse-chestnut fights,,they would sting if ya got hit in the head somewhere

maybe we should change the lyrics,,fiddle-heads roasting on an open-fireeeeee
We didn't have horse chesnuts bout we did have plenty of horse apples. Not too good for eating, although I did try to get my young cousin to try them But, great fun for throwing before snowball season

...and Merry Christmas to you as well! It is indeed an appropriate greeting for and from those who celebrate this day. Although I do not, I have never been offended when folks offer me Christmas greetings and do offer them to those who follow that path, sincerely and with purest of intent.

Default Oh My! I Have Been Visited...

Maybe not a big deal to you but ...

I have been visited by the Christmas Elf, The Grinch, and the Yuletide *** !!!

Oh My, Oh My... This is so very wonderful. _Thank You_ forum friends, dear friends for this Christmas cheer

To paraphrase Navin R. Johnson ("The Jerk"), "The new phone book's here! The new phone book's here! I'm somebody now!"

Thank you, Merry Christmas and Best wishes to all for the new year.
