Default Cheap Snow Tires

I am looking for cheap snow tires in Portland area. I am thinking of going to either Sears Automotive or the Tire Warehouse. My Volvo takes 195/60-15 tire sizes. Any suggestions where I can get a good deal?

One suggestion. Don't go for the absolute cheapest. You can get a fabulous snow tire for just a little more than the real cheap ones and they will last you for many season instead of 1 or 2. I am on my 5th season on the set I have, and they were only $35 more than the cheapest ones I could find. Check out the Firestone WinterForce tires. Very good price and the best I have owned in over 29 years driving on snow and ice.

Cooper Tires makes a really good tire for a reasonable price. I have four of them on my Subie Outback wagon. I highly recommend using a full set of four snow tires mounted on separate rims for New England winters. Put them on the car in early December and change to summer tires in late April.

You could call Sam's Club,.. they will quote a price for you. I bought my Michelens there and they had the best price at the time.
