lol....I'm on Broadway, just off Key St, and Corgis is just a short walk from me! We are definitely within walking distance! I'll be opening the house this spring, and hopefully will be able to get a lot done in there. We had some sloping with old beams, and had to have them supported--this caused a lot of cracking in the old horsehair plaster. Especially along one particular wall--I'm hoping to get all of that taken care of this spring. I'm thinking I'll take down the plaster, have an electrician come in and replace any wiring that needs it plus put in a couple of outlets, and insulate and put up beadboard. Hopefully I can save my moldings and just put those back up So, lots of work, but hopefully I can be there Fridays-Sundays....although with 4 kids that may be more of a dream than reality! lol On a side note, one of our showers here (Calais) just cracked and I'm trying to decide if I should try tiling.... Thank goodness though there's still 2 other bathrooms with showers/tubs!

Thanks M...I remember where Key Street is but not Broadway. I will have to find my city map. It's nice to be in walking distance of you and Corgis. I feel like I already know the neighbors.
