We spent Saturday afternoon bass fishing on Pocomoonshine. 83*, slight breeze, a few clouds that gave us a break from direct sun. Caught a lot of small and largemouths and saw a lot of loons.

Went to a 4th of July festival/car show yesterday in Maine at Willow Springs. It was around 85. Weatherman said rain all day but it only sprinkled a bit in the morning. My friend drove his 1919 Model T to the show (approx. 15 miles) I followed behind in my '59 Plymouth. Top speed - 35mph, 40 downhill.

Ben Franklin, Abe Lincoln, and Geo Washington riding a horse, were part of the festivities. We advised Abe not to got to the theatre tonight.

Oh, did I say it was in the Town of Maine, just north of Wausau, WI? (sorry, couldn't resist)

Seriously, though, when I mention Maine (the State) around here, people sometimes think I'm talking about the Town of Maine.

Check out a jet stream tracking website. The weather patterns are changed because the jet stream is wonky.
