A Weird Question
Hey guys,
I was at a home in Detroit doing some work recently and found some things that just interest me right to the core.
On one of the walls there was some blood spatter and a floor upstairs had a large amount of what looks like blood stains. The home is a recent foreclosure so I was there for the mortgage company, many people have been in it before me so I know I'm not the first to find this. I tried to do some research but was unable to find anything about a death in that area.
Was wondering if anyone had heard about anything recently happening in the way of deaths in Detriot. Not sure if there is an "exciting" story behind it or just part of a Halloween joke. My contractor and I are quite anxious to find out what the deal is!

It's ok Molly, we all have those days. I was afraid someone might get a little confused, especially if someone reads it first thing in the morning.

ok....have coffee in hand....
I would definitely be intrigued too! I'd be asking some questions of the neighbors--just tell them you're curious. You could try google and see if anything comes up. I wonder if people just assume that someone else knows and no one has contacted the local police or sheriff. Definitely curious! let us know what you find out!
on a side note my SIL used to live in Monroe--very pretty area!!

There is a Detroit, Maine. It's pronounced locally as DE troit, Not de TROIT. Got to be different y'know. It's like Calais here or over in New Hampshire, Berlin.

Check with the local police department or town office.
Perhaps one of the real estate agents here can also chime in -- would something like a murder in the house be among the home disclosure information that a potential buyer would receive?

I know--what was funny was that as soon as I sent off the post and turned away from the computer I went "DUH!" I thought about deleting the whole post, but wondered if someone else might do the same thing.....
ok, ok--I HOPE someone else would do the same thing! lol....make me feel a *little* less stupid!
