Hey guys, NWS is looking for honest people to join. It's fun and its helpful. You can ask me any questions or find the state coordinator.

Here's the PDF file to read about it.

Storm is too close for my comfort. Even for northern Maine. In the low 40s in Caribou now. Might not snow much or be anything exciting now.

What are your local mets saying??

Well, they were pretty sure we were going to get 1-3" last night up here, with greater amounts possible at higher elevations. Maybe somebody did, but not from where I sit.

1 3/4 inches in Lee. State plows are out on I-95 and Route 6. Some people forgot about slush and went down over the bank on I-95 below Howland and closer to Lincoln.

I knew it..

Watch this 36hr loop I made.... I'll try to do this with every snow event (noteworthy ones)

Watch northern Maine get screwed out of snow today. Moisture just stops moving north as the storm pulls away.

Hartford, Binghamton, Rochester, Syracuse, & Albany have more snow than Caribou so far this season.

Saw on facebook that Sugarloaf is going to end up with 12" of snow.

Since it is 3am now, yesterday we had big snow flakes mixed in the rain most of the day.
I also keep a notebook and looked at last year at this time. The result is we are so much warmer than we were the last two years at this same time. And a year ago, we had a good size snow storm for Halloween.

Looking on the bright side- at least it has been a mild fall ( but I would rather have snow... )
