Soon this Spring like weather will be consistent, but we all know we're still susceptible to cold shots through May

My thumbs have gone beyond green (different shades might I add), with gardening/planting seeds indoors fever! I heard a horrible rumor today. ..possible snow in a couple of weeks! Someone is quoting from the Almanac.... You mentioned cold shots - Surely (not Shirley), you do not bespeak of further snow!!!!
Needlesstosay...I'm reveling in the warmth and daylight after we get home from work!

Sure sign of spring: I'm taking off the snows on both vehicles. Put the General G-Max 's on the Subaru, replacing the winter General Altimax Arctics.

Putting Continental True contacts on the Torrent replacing the Nitto N-2's.

Both three season tires can handle a snow storm if a freak one kicks in in the fall or spring.

Also I sent in the income tax yesterday. And we got some new windows for the house. The big 65 x 50 inch window int he living room was fogged and now it has a new vinyl slider on it so qe can view spring summer fall winter with clear vision.

Changed my snow tires out today. But both of the three seasons are designed to handle some snow, so I am not worried. Thats why I bought the General G-Maxs and the Conti Truecontacts, both were highly rated for wet and snow. I would never use them for real winter driving with very cold temperatures and real snow and ice, but for a freak snowstorm in the spring and fall, they will work fine.

Farmer's Almanac has no more snow predicted, and although April is supposed to be 3 degrees colder, May is supposed to be 2 degrees warmer.

Time to get the boats ready for the water.

We had quite a bit of snow left two weeks ago.....almost all gone now, except for what's in the woods. It's been a great early spring.

Here in Princeton, all our snow is gone- even the big piles in parking lots... Some of the trees are starting to bud, and the grass is going from winter brown to spots of green

In Princeton, we woke up to an inch of snow, but rising temps.. Damp, cold, wet day takes the edge of the progress of Spring.
No fishing today... Yuck !

Here in Aurora, ME, 56F Degrees, Dew Point 46F Degrees, Wind, South 13MPH... Partly Cloudy...
Earlier on, it was bright and sunny and we walked along the creek that runs between the Birch Meadows and Forest....Spotted a young beaver who moved down stream a couple of weeks ago (from the family who returned last Summer and re-established the dam, lodge and had a family of five Beavers)...Was impressed by it's repair of the old dam (which had washed-out in September 2015).
We now have a waterfront view! Sweet little bugger has increased the water to 2 1/2 feet deeper (within the past two weeks)!
Saw fish a jumping upstream! Excited about the increase of Brookie Trout!
Found Wood violets blooming in the Birch Meadows again this year and transplanted them in our flowerbeds...
Ahhhhh.... Spring, how I love your warm embrace and how your fragrance seduces my senses! Constantly you draw me outdoors to gaze upon your beauty, awaken me in the morning with an orchestra of Song Birds and close with a show of color across the horizon that takes my breath away!
Ahhhh...Spring...You've captured my heart!
