Hang Gliding (insurance, buying, safe)

Hello everyone

I was thinking of buying my dad a hang gliding lesson/ride for his birthday (I'd go to of coarse this is just my way of getting someone to go with me ) and am trying to find places that do that sort of thing. The only place i can find is around Acadia with is fine but wanted to see if anyone here knew of others.

Also I wanted to know if any one here has hang glided before and if they could offer any tips for first timers

I admire you though...I'm way too chicken to try that. Yikes...after you go will you come back and post your experience? Be safe wild child.
