Cobscook Property Management - Eastport Vacation Rentals & Property Management

This is the link to some people who do property management in the Eastport area. Their name used to be "House Checkers Maine" but changed their name to better reflect the management that they do They've been around for a while and have a good reputation. By no means do they manage all the rentals in Eastport, but it's a good place to start. Another thing that people do because of the lack of complete rental information online is take out a classified in the Quoddy Tides under "looking to rent"....this has been helpful especially for those out of town Good luck with everything! There are so many towns in Maine that fit your description that you may have a difficult time choosing

Yes, Pat of Cobscook is a jewel. She takes care of our house. Each time they visit we get an email, and if I have any concern, she takes care of it. Their rates are very reasonable, and she does have a good listing of homes that are for rent in Eastport.

Hey Molly, we should think about keeping Eastport a secret. We don't want too many people moving there, do we?

And you cannot forget the rampant drug problems. Dealers on every corner, most of them in police uniforms and on duty, but "supplementing" their meager pay.

Hey, don't forget about those "clannish" Mainers who won't accept you in their community if you weren't born there.

Hey every one who moves to Maine wants to be the last one Maine lets in!! Yep, Maine is good for the "gray panthers" who are empty nesters, retired, and ride a bicycle to the country store to play checkers on a cold evening.

That has been the mentality here in Florida for quite a while. But, it didn't do any good, they still keep coming, although in smaller numbers the last couple of years.
