What was that old Meatloaf song...Paradise by the dashboard lights?
We've all been there! Had a few "old clunkers" myself in days gone by!

ahh the memories,,a song can bring up..... she was a black haired beauty with big dark eyes, with points of her own,,setting way up high....
well, i remember every little thing as if it happened only yesterday, parking by the lake and there was not another car in sight,,,and i never had a girl, looking any better than you did......
i said the years have been a friend to her and her eyes were still as blue......
it was somewhere in a fairytale, i use to take her home in my car, we learned about love in the back of a dodge, the lesson hadnt gone too far....
a long time ago i had a lady to love, she made me think of things i never thought of..

Maybe they can get special crosswalks with deer footprints painted on so that they will know where it's safe to cross!!!! LOL!!

We girls remember those days fondly.
Nights in White Satin, we're really nights in an '84 chevette. I liked him enough to snuggle, talk and stare at the stars for hours, even liked him enough to marry him. Hey, wasn't it just yesterday that we were all planning out our lives' paths together.

Wow, these songs and posted moments are taking me back too.
My daughters love to hear about my days as a kid and a teenager. Some don't realize we had it go0ood.
I can remember hanging out the back of an El camino at the drive in with friends. Going to parties at the pit. Where no one was hurt, but everyone had "headaches". Good clean fun. Even the police were okay as long as no one was driving while drinking. We were bad... but good!
Good times.
I don't think I could do it any more thou. I'm in my jammies by 10.

the police use to leave us alone also,,,but those days are gone,, and i can understand it,,
its not my son i so much worry about, its the friend behind the wheel after having a few,
