Hey--where KAF??? I know I missed a pretty big chunk of time, and I have to admit I didn't go back and read everything, but it seems like she's been gone a long time....

Forest, any news from across the way at KAF's house?

Bewitched, I'm so glad to see you

I was at their house today.

KAF and hubby have had a lot going on. They just had a buck with urinary stones, ick

A distasteful treatment which later did not work, and he was lost.

I am so happy! My DH and I got a puppy for my kiddo's that have B-day's 2 weeks apart and this puppy is sooooo sweet and has brought us so much joy. We have an older dog but my kids have never had a puppy and we haven't had one in 11 years. He's 7 weeks old and so tiny. I get to bring him to work and my co-worker got his brother so they get to play during the day. This is so random but I am just so tickled to have a puppy it makes me feel like I am the 10 year old!

I love puppies! They're both sweet and devilish in a cute wrapper.

Puppies, puppies, puppies! I'm such a sucker for a tiny little bundle of fun, DH won't take me into pet stores anymore! I love them all!

I love that more and more of Maine's work places are allowing employees to bring their dogs to work. It's so beneficial for everyone and has been found to make the workplace more productive!

Have fun with your new little baby!

jen just imagine when you get to Maine how much fun that puppy will have in the snow!!

You may also find that the puppy will play with your older dog in a way that brings the puppy style back out in him/her. Our corgi mix and become quite sedentary and we were getting a bit worried about her, she didn't seem as lively at all, and spent a lot of time sleeping. That all changed when the lab puppy came home! Even after two years they still wrestle and play, it's a lot of fun to watch and it's been so good for both of them.

Congratulations on the new addition to your family!!

Thank You all! I wasn't in the market for a puppy since my dog is 11 years old and set in his ways but I went with a girlfriend to get her puppy and I came home with the last one! My kids were so thrilled because they always begged me for one and I said NO not until we move. My older dog is liking the puppy and he is getting more attention because we are afraid he will get jealous. I will try to attach a pic....[IMG][/IMG]
