As many as 30 eggs in one week! WOW! I think a dozen eggs lasts us at least 2 weeks. Given the price of eggs in our local stores, I'm glad we don't eat a lot of them. Looks like the chickens might have caught a chill or something...$1.69 per dozen. Ugh!

I buy my eggs from a local farmer at $2.00 a dozen.
It's a quaint little diner where everyone knows your name.
If I ate that many eggs, I'd be clucking and scratching!

Well,... it was a rough morning. We had an appt for the dog at the vets. Went to start the car and it was frozen up solid as a brick. We've had this car ten years, first time it didn't start. Threw some "Heet" in it and jumped it, got it started but had to reschedule the vets by that time. So,... we decided to do the WalMart junk and get that done. We were nearly airborne by a couple of frostheaves, then we hit Stillwater Ave. What a carnival ride that was! Glad to be home before the snow starts.

Ok, after seeing those cute furbaby pictures..
This cracks me up, and I just had to share.
One of our dogs (the 15 year old) is sick, so I put blankets and a comforter on the couch so she can rest in comfort despite her bad hips. I went upstairs to grab something, noticed my other dog didn't follow me as usual, and came back downstairs to see this...
