"California License Plate"
German - "Arschgeweih," meaning: ass antlers
"Bullseye Tattoo"
(I got curious, had to look it up!)

Elston!!!!
Also, isn't it about time for Elston to be arriving soon? I can't wait to hear all about their trip accross the country! I think I remember seeing a date of 3/31 for his arrival, anyone remember?
Elston, hurry up and unpack the computer, we've missed you!

Goats?
No, as a career sailor I have heard the term "Bullseye Tattoo" a few times. Used by both male and female as the purpose of those tats.

Forget the tramp stamp I think it's a good place to set your beer when you're .....talking. Maybe evolution can do something about that!

Things are better now.
As our Molly reminded me this morning, I haven't been here for awhile. Oh, I lurk for a few minutes almost every day, but I have been busy, trying to find useful employment. In the last week, I've applied to be the director of the library at both Boothbay Harbor and at the Foxcroft Academy in Dover-Foxcroft and for children's librarian positions in Westbrook and Biddeford. I've also been just out in the area looking for any sort of work available. As expected, the lovely Mainers I've spoken with have been helpful and so concerned, but there just isn't enough money around to hire anyone else. And it's not that there's a lack of work that needs doing either.
This weekend I hope to get down to Boothbay again and check out the community there. With a little luck, next week I should have my insurance settlement from the accident and can get a car and return the rental. The insurance company has been soooo slow dealing with this.
Lastly, I went to the Humane Society in Bangor yesterday and instantly bonded with this beautiful Maine Coon/Siamese mix cat (I was and am looking for another small dog, I think). She is such a sweet girl and so assertive in her need for affection. I'm just not sure yet.
So, things are indeed better and I'll keep you posted.
Stephen
