I pick a couple of pages. Page 37, Pennamaquan Lake... camp looks across lake to the mouth of the river.
Pages 24 and 25... Blacks Woods Road. It's just plain beautiful.

moughie, That's the left half of it. Sometimes you can see Cadillac Mountain about 80 miles away. Feel free to climb the fire tower if you are not afraid of heights. That spot is about one mile from my camp on a lake.

Default Map 31 D 5

Map 31 D 5 I would love to kayak the sebasticook river from N. Dexter to great moose pond where our camp is in northeast cove. I know the river trip is about 22 miles and 3 miles more to camp..

it's probably hard to read, but it is Roque - with a "q", not a "g" . A little offshore is Roque Island.....the Thoroughfare is a favorite anchorage for anyone sailing downeast - just beautiful.

people that know me know I am kind of a map freak. I collect old maps, big maps, small maps, and maps from all over the place. But I'll be dammed if the Gazetteer isn't on the top of the pile.

My favorite place on the Gazetteer?...................the next place I have yet to visit and put a check next to!
