LOL!! Good point! Great story, NMLM

Part way through the show, people began to fidget. They leaned left and right and finally one lady over on the right produced a little musical toot. Now nobody else had to be the first one and it all went down hill from there. The actors putting on the show made significant mention of the person who had done the scheduling and made sure that doors were open for some cross ventilation.
Beans, beans, the musical fruit
The more you eat, the more you toot
The more you toot, the better you feel
Let's have beans for every meal!!!

Don't be offended if you strike up a conversation in the line at the local food store and just get a stare. We just have other things on our minds!

When I read things like this post, I just shake my head and think, "what a pity, how very sad for them". To purposely rebuff an overture of friendliness is so alien to my way of thinking. I am not offended at all I am just amazed at how closed that person is. I wonder what other oppurtunities they spurn, ignore or actively push away. Maybe one sunset too many or no time for a smile. Like I say, it seems so sad.

I don't know what he's talking about. I don't have any trouble getting into conversations with people in the grocery stores. Maybe it's just the store *he* goes to.

DW hates grocery shopping. I rather enjoy it. We only have one grocery store in town and it's the only sizable one in a several town radius. So a typical weekly grocery trip turns into a multi-hour affair. You never know who you are going to run into down any given isle. It's a regular social event!
