Yep, airports. I buy 91 octane ethanol free. My small engines have never run better. Runs about $5 gallon, but worth every penny. I only use about 15 gallons a year.

I was in conversation today with some guys who were emptying gas cans, with the intent to refill with AvGas. So the ethanol can flush out of their ATVs before they get parked over-winter.

I believe a gas station could generate some extra traffic if they offered a pump or two of non-ethanol gas at their facility. With all of the boats, ATVs, motorcycles, snowmobiles and power equipment being used in this state, I'm sure it would be a hit.

I gave up on my search around my area. No gas stations I'm aware of in central Maine offer it. I'm going to run up to Norridgewock airport and purchase some 91 octane pure gas to run through my mower and lawn equipment before they're put away for the year. High octane fuel in small engines isn't the best but ethanol is a lot worse.

When I was working on the Polaris Project back in 63, I had a Vespa motor scooter. We ran it on 115/145 Aviation gasoline and aviation oil. It was a 2 stroke. I had to replace the plug every 2 weeks. We flew tht Vespa around in our helicopter. Base security asked how I got it onto th base without a sticker. I told thm I flew it in in my helicopter. Kind of freaked out security, but they got over it. I rode it all the way to Daytona up the beaches, just going up on the roads to cross rivers.

the AV gas, 100LL is great for stored engines. Use it in the car with mechanical fuel injection when they might sit over the winter or to store a fuel unit. Lasts forever.

Have to pump AV gas in containers vs vehicle.

Well I ran up to Norridgewock airport and purchased some 91 octane ethanol free gas. Good news is I finally found some non-ethanol gas. Bad news is they will not be receiving anymore deliveries of the 91 octane until May. Once they run out that will be it until spring.
