kennebunk like many coastal towns is a tale of two cities (towns), you have the hard working locals and the well to do folks that buy the prime waterfront properties, it is a beautiful town that has one of the best beaches and scenery in the state, and because of this, the housing market is a bit on the high side.
i use to live in kennebunkport, absolutely loved it there!!! |

Thank you for the input on kennebunk area. How did you find the summers to be in terms of traffic. Not so much the Port area but Kennebunk in general. Have to say the schools seem to be great. All the parents I have spoken to are quite happy with it.
Still considering our options. Close to beach versus close to Portland. Have been surprised by home prices. Coming from MA and RI thought the prices would be a bit lower. |
