We received some information on Highland Green in Topsham. It sounds interesting but before we explore the area I'd appreciate any input from those of you familiar with Topsham or Highland Green. Any thoughts?

There is no way I'd live in a planned community unless I was forced into a nursing home. HOA's are a unique kind of hell.

I don't know about Highland Green, but you can't ask for a better geographic location than the Topsham/Brunswick area......right off I-95 and centralized to Mid-Coast, Portland, and inland Central Maine.

Topsham is a nice area, I worked in topsham for 3 years

the maine traffic artery is from topsham to main street Brunswick...

travel that a couple times when its busy (3-6pm) it is congested (from Brunswick to topsham too- lots of BIW traffic goes thru topsham )

im not familiar with what you mentioned for a home,,,,but if it works for you,,, good luck

many towns around topsham are nice too...Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Richmond

I got to meet many folks from topsham,,and most all were very nice

Agreed.

Topsham is a great little town. Not much of a "downtown" area. The main shopping district is more of a strip mall. But Topsham has really great residential neighborhoods, and if you really want a great downtown area, you can cross the river and go to Brunswick.
