The best of luck to you, El; I know you've been waiting a long time! Here's to a bidding war, or at least a really fine offer. And a smooth path to closing.

WooHoo! Most excellent El

So, if these new buyers like it as much as the buyers from 2 days ago, then your listing agent can put a bug in their agents ear and give them a little extra incentive to make an offer! After all, they wouldn't want to lose out on the perfect house. Very exciting!

Our agent said "end of March" - right on target! Maybe we'd better start planning our move in more detail soon!

It's true! Both of our houses went under contract in March. Wish we could have this one ready but it's not gonna happen in time.

Fingers still crossed!

El, we have had a couple of home sales that happened that way. Two offers and another highly interested party in one day - after the house had been on the market for 4 months. On another house - two second showings and a third showing (which resulted in an offer that we accepted) on one day - after the house had been on the market two months. Sometimes it's bizarre how much activity happens at once. This can be very beneficial for you as the seller. I hope they both want to buy and get into a bidding war! Good luck - I'm sending happy thoughts your way babe!

Still waiting.................haven't gotten the feedback from yesterday, but we're hopeful. I'm just excited that after only 5 showings in 5 1/2 months, we've now had two in one week! That's at least a lot of progress!!

Good Luck; it feels as if something is in the air. I heard on CNN this morning that some guru of real estate feels we have hit bottom and the market is going to start to improve now. That kind of talk could motivate those who are waiting for the very best deal....to decide to buy.

I really hope so for you guys! I know how frustrating the wait can be and I understand how you are yearning to move to Maine. I also understand that it needs to happen over this spring or summer--before school starts up in the fall. My best thoughts are with you!
