You think? It's a big 56" Mitsubishi floor model. 
I plan to be too busy running around the outdoors up there to have time to watch so much TV! |

Oh, when I think of big screen I think of a wall mounted plasma or LCD. Hmm, the husband might still like one of those big floor models though, especially if he's a sports fan. You just never know what will get their attention. Can't hurt to try! |

We just spent 1 month on the market and just got a contract. The house across the street went on the market at the same time as us, only priced $15k less than ours. It's a similar house (i like some things about theirs, and other things about ours) and that price difference hurt us a little bit. During negotiations with our buyers, the house across the street quickly became the benchmark and this being a buyers market, we came down significantly to get the sale. It stings a little bit, but I can only hope that we can make that $$ up on the purchase in ME assuming a similar market there.
We'll be outta here in July, just in time to get out of the heat. woohoo!

Yay, Rossco! I'm happy for you.
Our agent and the buyers agent have been on the phone this morning. We offered them a price reduction of $3K which leaves them room to negotiate us down more, and a $500 bonus for the buyer's agent and to leave behind the big old TV. They bit.
The husband said that was worth pursuing and asked the agent to call his wife. They had to leave her a message and now we're just waiting again. So, we'll see!  |
