Can't wait to see him trying to chop fire wood! And I'm not sure where that will come from. The fp in the living room has gas logs and uses propane, so that cuts down on a good bit of heating expense, they say. The fp in our bedroom uses wood, so we won't need quite as much of that, I guess. I believe M said the couple there now starts a fire in there at bedtime and lets it burn out though the night. We'll have to figure all that out.

The view is outstanding... and the people she's renting from are wonderful--just as thoughtful and caring as could be! I really just had the best feeling walking through the house and talking to the tenants.... and more good news: it's big enough for all your friends that are here waiting for you.... heck, there may even be food in the kitchen when you pull in

I'm just amazed at the good fortune being dumped on us right now! We now have a house and THREE potential jobs within one weeks' time. And all this is in Washington Cty of all places - where no good houses or jobs exist!! And how interesting that all 3 jobs require certifications that Brad has. I do believe the universe is speaking loud and clear!

Funny story.... I called El and we went through the pictures one by one. One of the first outside shots shows a large red ship docked down river, so I said "do you see the red ship? That's Bayside, on the Canadian side" Well, Olivia was in the background saying "We have a SHIP??" hilarious, so El didn't remark on the "Canadian side" comment, which I thought was unusual. Then, 20 minutes later we're going through the pictures again, and it clicks.... she *yells* into the phone "Oh wait a minute!! You mean that's CANADA?? The other side of the river is Canada??!!" It was priceless!
