As for moving trucks (everybody get ready to scream at me) the company pays for our move. The relocators call us to arrange the truck, a realtor to sell our house, a realtor ot help find a new house, they even come in and pack everything and load it on the truck. We spent last week in Maine looking for a house and enjoying the snow. Found a great house that we just might buy.

Thanks. We've done our share of packing, loading, driving, unloading, unpacking, and paying through the nose for all of it. As for the house, I dread renting again, but we're going to try and buy as soon as we're in a position to do so.

Drama, I only write in pen for special occasions! September 13th - CHECK! We'll definitely put together something special while you're there.

MBM, thank you. We're overjoyed every time we realize how close we are. It's a very surreal feeling and probably will be for the entire first year that we spend in Maine!

My friends don't need invitations to stop by. I've always got coffee in the cabinet, and when it starts to get warm, there will be "Southern house wine" in the fridge most of the time.

Yep at least that long... As I slide down into the end of year 1, there is not a day goes by that something doesn't happen to generate a contented sigh and the "... and I live in Maine!" though here.
