Ahhhh I remember how very exciting that was...yet, I still remember my tearful glance back at my home as I was leaving that morning. I always heard it said when you make up your mind don't look back...but I wouldn't have wanted to miss that moment to reflect upon. Here's to never regretting what you've set in motion. I celebrate this exciting part of your journey with you! Safe travels El.

Hopefully, We won't be TO FAR behind you and will be making our way home in not to much longer!

Just over 12 hours!!! OMG! We're not really believing this is finally happening. It hasn't set in yet. It will in a week or so while we're unpacking in our new home.

We're absolutely exhausted, too busy to stop right now, and very happy! We keep looking at each other and exchanging those stupid grins.

I'll check in again in the morning before we head out.

I am so very happy for you guys! You have worked so hard to make it happen.....held on to your dream dispite all the obstacles that the economy and the housing market could throw at you. Dont work yourselves to exhaustion....(not sure how you avoid that).....and enjoy the trek northward...we live in a great and wonderful country.....driving across it is an awesome experience....all the little towns, the beautiful countryside, (we managed to avoid most of the cities) and wonderful people along the way. Your trip is like a reverse version of the Westward Ho migration ..... coming home to Maine!
