Cell Phone coverage in Maine?
What is the best service in Maine? We are moving to the Brunswick area? Thank you!!!!

cell phone coverage
My husband is in communications and worked diligently to get our cell phones to work in Maine. Service from all providers is challenged due to the granite and trees however we had fair luck with our cell phone booster with some effort...good luck, it's intermittant at best outside of the cities and off the highways

well lucky you. Southern maine is much better with cell phone service then say mid to northern maine. You should be fine down around Brunswick. I have a friend that worked for the cell phone industry for a little while in Portland and he said they had so many more options down in Portland then we have up near Bangor. But Maine probably does have more dead spots then most other states, disregarding Montana, North and South Dakota.
