I'll make a quick trip out tomorrow for milk and dog food then I'll just hole up and watch it snow. I know there're some of you that have had enough, and it has been a very snowy year but, I have been so glad to be home that the snow has seemed like an affirmation to me that I'm in the right place.

I'm down from ya'll but heard from a friend that Maine over-all has reported more than 140' of snow this winter. Is that true? And where are the snow reports that include number of feet by either city, state or region--if anyone knows.

And, I msina, what do you mean, "confirmed I'm in the right place?"

I feel as if I am in the arctic and ne'er can get out of the house.

No, not 140'. Inches yes, but not feet. I keep track. We've had 92" in my yard so far this winter. 100" is normal.

Thanks. I wish I had kept a log because I can't find the info on line. And my apology--I jumped from inches to feet in my mind because some days I felt as if it were feet.

One person who will be sorry she missed it is Alice T. I think I'll go out to her place after it's over and take a couple of pics for her.
