It was horrible. We still had snow in the woods in May. Deer pawed through the snow that December to get to food before they left for their winter feeding grounds. Last year they left on December 7, a few weeks earlier than 2015.

Oh I remember! And we got a big snow storm also in May that year that dumped 11 inches on us... May! Unbelievable !

The starving deer walked in front of another camera and triggered a pic I could zoom in on a little more. If you look at her right ear you can see that it has what appears to be white in places there shouldn't be. A huge chunk of her ear is missing. She's had a rough time.
