Default Moses

No... not the parting of the Red Sea Moses...Maine Online Sportsmen's Electronic System. A system from your Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife which allows you to buy a fishing or hunting license, register your canoe or snowmobile and other fun things they charge us to do in this state. All from your home computer! Plus if you haven't already spent enough on your registrations and licenses they have a nifty online store filled with all sorts of IF&W products for your home, office, or prison cell!
It really IS convenient for the computer literate ...which means ALL of you folks!

And it seems like only yesterday they were installing flush toilets in the Blaine House. Look how far we've come!

Thank you for the wonderful resource!!! I didn't know such a thing existed and now registration of snowmobiles, atv's, and licenses will be much easier.

Thank you.

I've been using the MOSES system from the first year it was available. Love it!

I poked a little fun at it but in actuality I really like the system and have written to the Department of IF&W to tell them so. It's great to buy a fishing license and print it off a few minutes later. Plus if you ever lose your license just print yourself a duplicate. They even sell a Super Pack license if you're really an avid outdoorsman that covers everything from spring turkey hunting to fishing and everything in between including Archery and Muzzleloading seasons. The cost is $200.00 but if you do all of those things you'd save a little money .
