Default New fiction book set in Maine

Since I love all things Maine, I wanted to let you all know that there's a newer book out that "follows small-town Maine folk". It's called "Olive Kitteridge" by Elizabeth Strout. It got great reviews online and in Entertainment Weekly. I just requested it from the library. Can't wait to get lost in a good book set in my favorite place!

Sounds like a good book, I love to read. I will have to get the book especially because it is set in Maine. Thanks for sharing the information.

For those that love books set in Maine - especially coastal Maine - you might want to check your library for books by the author Elizabeth Ogelvie (sp?) - she wrote many novels in the 1950s - 1970s. Many were about the fictional Bennet family. I was hooked on her books for a while. Many were set on the coastal islands.
