Default Sanford/Biddeford area

I have read the previous threads, but we are looking at homes on Tuesday and I am wondering if anyone has any opinions about the local schools. Middle and high school. I found that Sanford does not have a middle school, it's a jr. high and my two will be in 6th and 8th next year. I would like them to be in the same school and I also like the middle school philosophy better. Do they have middle school hockey in Sanford or the close-in areas? Both of the shorties play ice hockey.
Is Biddeford a ton more expensive house-wise? I am in town in Bangor and we kinda like being close to the grocery, rink, dentist etc... I know nothing about the area and could really use your opinions.
Thanks a bunch.

Biddeford just opened a new middle school that is absolutely beautiful. State of the art! The hockey teams here are incredible too. Great middle and upper level hockey programs. The high school team just won states again.
The housing is more expensive than Sanford but you get what you pay for. What is your price point? I know of two homes in Biddeford for sale that are in great neighborhoods with kids your childrens ages.

Default Wow, What a great reply!

Thanks K & K's Mom. We are looking for an inexpensive home. Hopefully under 200K. Is that reasonable in the area, do you think? The middle school sounds wonderful. I would like to go and take a look at the schools too. Thanks again for the reply.

You may be able to find an older fixer upper or a multi unit. I would check realtor.com

This is a good local real estate site: Welcome to Flynn & Company. Just for fun, I checked Biddeford homes 200k and less, and some look very nice. Hope this helps and good luck!
