Unhappy My Tin Hat

Just one more way of doing big, impersonal business with our gubmint's blessing!

The tin foil hat or pot over one's head is used to keep the gubmint or aliens from reading your thoughts, or to keep them from beaming orders down. In abnormal psych, while it isn't all that common, it is more common than you might think.

I wonder if a colander works, seeing it is full of holes? LOL

Talking HELLO 7th Generation!

GREAT THREAD "MAINEAH" THANK YOU FOR STARTING IT!

7TH GENERATION, I think this would be GREAT to help

with baby theft, like you said, I am sure that 5% of mothers would agree.

That is a horrible thing to happen to a Mother that has just given

birth And of course, its a great device to help you get home after

a night out of drinking LOL! LOL!

It would also be good, like one of the posters mentioned, to let us know

when there is tainted foods, damaged or spoiled in the cart

Having said that, I am sure that it would be ABUSED by the system

As it is, I think its horrible, that as soon as you purchase a property,

everyone on the planet knows where you are And you start

to get mailings from EVERYTHING that could possibly exist creating

more TRASH

So, PRIVACY is my biggest concern with it, it bothers me, if the government

would know my blood type, and everything else about me, and that maybe

they might use whatever information they have on you, against

you at some point in time.......Mind you, I have nothing to hide,

or nothing to be ashamed of, but I really do not want ALL of my info.

in someone else's hands

Have a great day everyone!

Of course the case can be made given 4.2 million births a year in 3,500 facilities, abductions by non-family members is between 0 and 12 per year and of these abductions the mother is reunited 95% of the time.
So in this setting are the RFID tags intrusive? Ask the 5% of mothers that never get their babies back.
As far as either implanting chips in people or inserting one in a drink.
Hey, at least I'd get home after a night at the bar!!

I remember one of the characters in Ghost Busters wore one but it didn't work out too well for him. Better stick with a tin foil hat

I have a CC like that. It's interesting that I can just 'tap' it and it instantaneously gets processed in a fraction of the time it takes to swipe a card. Kind of freaky, too.

Supposedly, the ability to remotely scan RFID is what kept it off the final design of the Real ID's. So they say. It could very easily be embedded without anyone knowing. But, for some reason, RFID is still going into all new US Passports.

Gillette is going to implement RFID into the handle of their brand of shavers. Why? Who really knows. Seems goofy to me, but they claim that it is just to keep track of sales and markets. Many other companies are looking into it as well.

A way they are handling the problem with outside interests reading the data is by assigning just numeric values to the RFID chips instead of real information. A reader will give the party the number stored on the chip but it's meaningless without the corresponding data files to interpret the actual meaning assigned to the number. Your id may be entered as 12227727266, In the proper data bank that number could have everything about you on file assigned to it,your shoe size, or that you have a pack of gum in your pocket. It depends on the designation of the RFID chip. If an outside reader gets all of these numbers from a scan they can do nothing with them without the data base. There are 10 To the 38th power of possible combinations of numbers available for 128 bit encryption so they won't run out of numbers anytime soon.

How about the passports being outsourced overseas. Incredible, talk about opportunity for idenity theft of Americans by foreigners. Big Brother is getting just way too big!
