Fire & Rescue in Eastport
Does anyone have an address for the Eastport volunteer fire company and/or the nearest ambulance service to town? I'd like to find it on mapquest, but when I search for local fire companies the closest it brings up is in Lubec.

Eastport may use the ambulance service from Pleasant Point. Mollysmiles will probably know the answer to this one.

Thanks mensaguy - it's nice to get an idea of where things are. Having been a cartographer I can get a pretty good image (especially with the sat pics) of what a place looks like. Is it the building on the SW corner?

SW corner of the intersection. A map could show Washington Street going toward town, and County Road might be labeled Rt. 190.

Don't know, but I THINK it comes from the fire station. I do know that Eastport has its own ambulance.

hey, I only have a second but wanted to reply quickly. Eastport does use Downeast Ambulance service, Pleasant Point has it's own. I have heard and have been told that getting a job with Downeast right now is very workable.....they aren't terribly short handed, but the cover a very large area, and are always looking for quality employees
