Are we saying the same thing....?? I may have used MSRP in the wrong manner. I meant the price of the vehicle when it was new..according to the manufacturer.

They use the NADA book to determine the value of the vehicle when it was New (which you can) and then apply the rates which they have posted.
Could be, I hadn't thought of it that way...but now that you put it that way, I think you might be right.
