Default Berwick

We just found out that my husband is being transferred to Boston. He'll only have to do the commute into work 5-6 times a month. We've been looking at all the different options we have as far as where to live and are feeling really overwhelmed. We've been living in South Florida for three years and are very, VERY ready for a change! We have desperately missed the change of seasons and are looking for a nice, small little town to settle into. We came across a rental in Berwick that is a perfect match for us at a great price, but I'm concerned about my husbands commute. I've looked into all the options...C and J's Trailway, Amtrak, and driving to Newburyport then taking the MBTA. Ideally, it'd be great if he could get straight into South Station, but that leaves the bus as his only option. How about driving himself in? He'd probably do it at an off time, and keep in mind it will be an infrequent commute.

Also, how does Berwick fit for a family with three little ones??

Either I or my Dw have to drive down to Norwich Ct once a month and back again, we live just a tad North of Bangor. It is not a bad drive, though a bit longer than Berwick to Boston. My Dw also drives down to DC 3 or 4 times each year to visit relatives.

I do not see why your Dh can not drive himself once or twice a week into Boston. Just consider a high MPG commuter car, and he should be fine.

Good luck and enjoy your move
