For lunch today we had fiddleheads with vinegar (picked by DH), yummy trout fried in butter, and home fries.

I've actually gained 10 lbs since moving to Maine last July (went from 132 to 142). True story. This gaining has got to stop now, I tell you! They have Graham Cracker Pie at Governor's to die for. When we were growing up in western Canada, my mom made the exact same pie, but she always called it "Flapper Pie"

There is a woman in Freeport who makes a living selling whoopie pies. I can't post it or they will probably delete the message.

Ohh the beautiful creation of the whoopie pie. It is a forbidden sweet. Perfect with a glass of cold milk.
