Isn't it illegal to shoot within XX yards of a house or a road anyway?

In theory it is illegal to hunt within 300 feet from a house.
We had a debate on CD once about whether it was 100 yards or 300 feet, I think that it was finally decided that 300 feet is the general rule.
Walking through the forest here folks come up near our house and can not see it until they are within 20 yards.

100 yards IS 300 feet there isn't any difference. Three teaspoons is the same as a tablespoon too.

I agree, though there was a thread once where someone got into an argument over it.
